E/Prof. Jeffrey Rosenfeld AC OBE
Independent Director & Chair
Jeffrey is a senior neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery at The Alfred Hospital, and the Emeritus Professor of Surgery at Monash University, as well as being a Major General in the Australian Defence Force, where he has served as a trauma surgeon since 1984. His research has focused on traumatic brain injury, bionic vision, and medical engineering. He is best known for devising an operation to remove hypothalamic haematomas from children’s brains.
Lynda O’Grady
Independent Director
Lynda is an Australian business luminary whose advice is sought after by both government and private enterprise. Currently the director of Musica Viva Australia, Ms O’Grady is a non-executive director of Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (DMP), Wagner Holdings Ltd (WGN), Rubicon Water Ltd (RWL) and AVANT Mutual Limited, as well as being a member of the Advisory Board of Jamieson Coote Bonds.
Lynda has extensive experience in the health field, having served two terms as the inaugural Chairman of the Aged Care Financing Authority and as one of two independent directors for the National Electronic Health Transition Authority (NEHTA).
Dr. Brad Murphy OAM
Independent Director
Brad is a proud Kamilaroi man from North-Western NSW, a Rural Generalist with extensive rural and remote clinical experience, now based in Bundaberg, Queensland. Throughout his career, Brad has sought to identify how health care can be made better and more sustainable for all Australians, in particular indigenous health and the professionals who deliver care.
E/Prof. Peter Little AM
Independent Director & Chair Academic Board
Peter has had a celebrated career in the University and business sectors. Currently Director of Ormiston College Ltd and the RACQ Foundation Ltd, he is a Professor of Business Law and former Deputy Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean of the QUT Business School. Peter sits on the Governing Committee of the Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame and regularly chairs international accreditations of Business Schools carried out by the European Foundation for Management Development (EQUIS).
Taffy Gould
Nominee Director
An author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a former educator, Taffy has dedicated the past two decades to addressing health issues around the world. She founded Oceania University of Medicine in 2000, negotiated the company’s relationship with the Government of Samoa to create and operate a medical school there, and is now in talks with leaders of other countries to replicate the model in those locations.
Greg Beber
Nominee Director
A licensed Intellectual Property attorney, co-founder and COO of a nationally recognized distance education company, and CIO of Oceania University of Medicine, with an extensive knowledge of software platforms and administration, and full stack application development and integration. Greg graduated from Harvard University and holds a JD cum laude from Vermont Law School.
Emeritus Professor Robert Stable AM
Strategic Advisor to the Board
Robert Stable is an Australian medical doctor, and former vice-chancellor of Bond University. Rob worked as a doctor and public servant in the health sector rising to become the director-general of Queensland Health in 1996. Robert has also served as hospital medical superintendent, rural general practitioner and flying doctor.
